Hi guys,
I originally purchased an astroeq and some steppers with the plan to 3D print the bracket and belt gears similar to the plans on the website.
I bought some steppers (

I adjusted the current limit and managed to get the bracket to move, but the stepper got too hot and started to warp my plastic bracket. After reading the FAQ about setting the current limit and getting it to spec, the bracket wouldn't move anymore.
So I'm wondering if I should adjust my bracket or change my gear ratio? (Currently there are 15 teeth on the motor and 40 on the bracket) or should I put the stepper in the parts box for another project and buy a bigger one?
