Can anyone give me a quick answer to my question? I have a stepper motor, now the problem is that I need to turn the starter motor to one end of the diameter. So the question is if this can be done and if so, the wiring needs to be changed. The stepper is 17HS13-0404S (

I tried to turn the starter motor and so far the only movement I get is a small knock during the acceleration phase when starting the rotation of the stepper and another small knock during the deceleration phase when stopping the stepper. In between it just hums. If I return the stepper to its original orientation, I can spin it without any worries.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
